World's Largest Lesson Awake a Generation
THANKYOU

...for taking part in a moment in history. When children from every corner of the planet received a lesson that will last them a lifetime: a lesson on the new Global Goals for Sustainable Development. From individual teachers canoeing for 7 hours to teach the lesson in a rainforest, to using technology to link together children from different parts of the world for the same lesson: every effort possible has been made to make sure children are informed, and empowered, by the United Nations new Global Goals.

So far....
  • Our lesson materials have been shared in 160 different countries across the world
  • We have reached over 4m people on social media.
  • We worked with 104 Ministries of Education and had over 10 Ministers of Education and one Prime Minister launch World's Largest Lesson in their country by attending a lesson themselves or calling out to teachers.
  • We have partnered with over 100 civil society organisations and NGOs.
  • We also know that many countries, classrooms and organisations have plans to use our materials over the next 6 months.

Over the last few weeks we have been writing stories on some of the amazing different examples of school activities taking place around the world, including school spotlight stories. Do have a look and see what you have been a part of!

We also have regional photo albums and lots of videos on our Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/TheWorldsLargestLesson and continue to tweet about different stories and images from @TheWorldsLesson. Dosend us anything you would like us to share.

A foundation is now laid to enable the children and young people of today to be active global citizens. We can achieve the new goals by 2030 but only if we continue to make sure children and young people are included.

To this end we would be grateful if you could take 5 minutes to complete this survey so that we can learn from 2015 and improve as we plan the future of World's Largest Lesson.

With thanks and best wishes,

Alison Bellwood
Programme Director
World's Largest Lesson
